- About cookies in general
- What are cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of data (a packet of variable, alphanumeric information) that is sent to your device by the server of the website you are browsing. The cookie is stored in the browser program on your computer, phone or tablet and can be read later by the sending server. No other website can read the cookie, only the website that placed it. Cookies tell us about visitors' habits.
when using the website. Cookies can be used for a variety of purposes, such as to measure the number of visitors to the site or to facilitate browsing by remembering pages previously visited within the site. No cookie contains any personal information that would directly enable anyone to contact you by email, telephone, or traditional mail. Cookies are not in themselves capable of identifying the user, but only of recognizing the visitor's device. If you do not wish to accept the use of cookies on the site, you can set your web browser to notify you of the placement of cookies or to prevent the placement of cookies.
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the site and to support the session, to identify individual user sessions and to facilitate a more convenient use of our website.
- How can you control how cookies work?
We place cookies on the device you use to visit our website (your computer, phone, or tablet). We will inform you of this when you start browsing our website, in a pop-up window when the main page loads.
We do not need to obtain your consent to place cookies to provide the functionality and convenience of our website. We need your consent for cookies to start working for additional purposes, such as analyzing your visit while identifying your device or collecting data for marketing purposes. Your consent is requested in the pop-up window mentioned above. You can call up this window at any time by clicking on "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page, and you can change your consent to individual data collections later.
You can choose to disable and delete cookies in your internet browser settings at any time, regardless of the settings we provide above. Please note, however, that without the use of cookies, you will not be able to access many of the features that make your browsing experience easier, and some of our services may not function properly.
- Managing cookie settings in browsers
You can change your cookie settings in the pop-up window or via your browser. You can disable the use of cookies by activating a setting in your browser that allows you to refuse all or some cookies. These settings are usually available in the "settings" or "preferences" menu of your browser. Use the following links to find out more:

- Types of cookies
Cookies can be either session cookies - cookies that are valid at the time of processing - or persistent cookies - cookies and we distinguish between first party (internal) and third-party (external) cookies. You can read below what these terms mean to help you better understand the cookies we use and why we use them.
Cookies may also be convenience cookies to support your use. These cookies allow our website to remember which mode of operation you have chosen (for example, whether you have accepted the cookie notice and which ordering principle you want the results of the search results to be displayed in). This is done so that you do not have to accept the cookie notice again and again on your next visit or to choose which ordering principle you want to use to view the content displayed on the site. Without the information contained in the cookies that store your preferences, our website may function less smoothly. We do not record any personal data in the preference cookies, we only store an identification number which informs the site that the cookie policy has been previously accepted. The convenience cookie is stored on the client's computer browser and expires after 1 month.
- Cookies valid during your browsing session
Cookies that are valid during a browsing session allow you to be recognized during your visit to our website, so that any page changes or selections you make can be remembered by the browser as you browse from page to page within the website. These cookies allow you to move quickly and easily through several pages on a site and back without having to identify yourself on each page you visit or repeat processes (such as filling in a form). When you finish browsing a site or close your browser, these cookies are automatically deleted from your device.
- Permanent cookies
Persistent cookies are cookies that remain "persistent" on your computer for a certain period of time (their validity period is defined in days, weeks, months or years) after the browsing process has expired, and therefore allow you to remember users' preferences or actions during a subsequent visit to the site (e.g. they can be used to store a valid username or password for a given page). Saved cookies are stored on your device until the expiry of the validity period, but you can delete them before the predefined time limits expire.
- Cookies from the website operator
Cookies from the server of the website you are browsing. In the present case, these are functional and convenient cookies from the server hosting the website operated by the Data Controller, the general characteristics and functioning of which are described above. They record the IP address of your device, the pages visited during the use of the site, and possibly (at your choice) the user's name and password. This is to allow you to avoid having to repeat the process of using the site by opening the same pages, or returning to the site after leaving it, or, at your option, having to re-identify or re-login. We use cookies to provide registered users of our site with the appropriate permissions; once a user has logged in to the site, they will be given the
necessary permissions. No other information is stored by these cookies in this context, including when you logged in, who logged in, and we simply use them to check your access rights.
These cookies are known as session cookies and are valid during your browsing session. This means that when someone starts browsing the site, the cookie is activated and then persists for up to 15 minutes after the user's last activity or expires when the user exits.
An exception to this is a cookie that remembers your login data at your discretion, which is stored on your browsing device for 365 days.
- Third-party cookies
Third party cookies are not from the Data Controller or the server hosting the website. These cookies are also stored on your computer, phone, or tablet when you visit the site, as described below.
- Google cookies
